OUR PHILOSOPHY

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
A quality product requires consistent planning. Medflow's Product Development Committee reviews and approves every feature or functional enhancement prior to setting the scope for each software release. This is to ensure that only the most desired features are available as quickly as possible.
A quality product requires consistent communication. You’ll know what is in every release and when you can expect it. Once the scope of a release is determined, Medflow's Release Team will provide a standard communication to our customers. Additionally, you can stay informed via our community-based forums, FAQ forums, instructional videos, and online knowledgebase. 
A quality product requires a consistent release schedule. Our skilled IT staff will design, develop, and test every new feature, ensuring the right solution goes out the door, every 60 days. Project managers, software developers, software build managers, software release managers, quality assurance specialists, and certified ophthalmic technicians will exercise the same disciplines, every 60 days.

QUALITY PROCESSES, TOOLS, CONTROLS AND MEASUREMENTS
Medflow recognizes that in order to maintain and improve quality, an organization needs to possess standard, repeatable processes, controls to enforce these processes, tools to support these processes, and measurements to gauge the effectiveness of the quality assurance program.
• Medflow has implemented a role-based software development lifecycle which stresses the    importance of responsibilities, ownership, and deliverables to ensure a successful project.

• Project milestones, functional reviews, design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and 3 isolated environments (development, test, and production) are all examples of some of the controls that we have installed.

• We utilize case management software, source-code repositories, automated software building and automated testing tools to streamline the process.

• Project Audits and “Lessons – Learned” are conducted by our QA professionals to continually identify opportunities for improvement.
