Greg Lindberg, Chairman
Greg is the Chairman and owner of Eli Global, a group of market intelligence and publishing companies and Medflow as well when it became a part of the group in January 2015. The group has completed 24 acquisitions and currently employs 1,500 people worldwide. Greg is a Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude graduate of Yale University with an honors degree in Economics. He started his first business in his sophomore year at Yale and brings his visionary leadership to Medflow.
Satya Gottumukkala, Chief Executive Officer
Satya was named as the CEO of Medflow in February 2015 post Eli Global’s acquisition of the company. Satya brings to Medflow over 27 years of experience (17 of which are in healthcare and life sciences industry), in management, development and maintenance of information systems. He has expertise in IT, ITeS and BPO / KPO services. He has significant experience with EMR systems and was involved in managing large P&L business units for healthcare IT companies. Prior to Medflow, Satya was an executive vice president with Anthelio healthcare solutions, a Dallas based HIT services provider.
In the past eight years Satya was involved in three M&A deals and has vast experience in managing integration of organizations post the mergers. He was involved in the FCG-CSC transition in India, did an acquisition of an HIS product in India and was involved in integration of the operations of PHNS – Anthelio.
Earlier (1999 – 2002) in his career, Satya was involved in co-founding “HealthAsyst” a HIT service provider from India. Satya has a bachelors degree in engineering from BITS Pilani, India and has attended a project management course in Harvard University.
Jim Messier, Senior Vice President – Product Management and International Sales
Jim is a seasoned professional with thirty years of high-level corporate experience in information technology development, consulting, strategic sales and marketing in the eye care marketplace.
Working in the EHR field since 1992, Jim is a pioneer in the field of EHR for ophthalmology. Jim has been personally involved in the sales of electronic records systems to over 800 clinics throughout his career. Jim has immense knowledge of electronic health records, infrastructure requirements, workflow and best practices for successfully implementing a solution. Jim was the president and co-owner of IFA Systems, Inc, vice president of eye care products for NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc. He joined Medflow in 2006 to lead the sales and marketing effort for the company.
Jim now leads the product development and is the product owner for all Medflow programs. He also leads international sales, ensuring that ophthalmologists all over the world have access to Medflow’s cutting edge products.
Krishna Mohan Avutapalli, Vice President – Development
Krishna heads product delivery for Medflow’s suite of products and services. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology, software services, product development and implementations while managing large and complex client engagements.
Prior to Medflow, Krishna has extensively worked in healthcare both in provider and payer solutions within products and IT services. He was a senior director in Anthelio healthcare solution heading HIT solutions delivery where he was responsible for building large and multi-disciplinary teams while delivering IT services in global delivery model. Krishna has expertise in leading large EHR product development and implementations for clients through setting up right delivery structure, process and metrics based performance model using best class quality methodologies.
He is a post graduate in commerce from Osmania University and he also studied leadership program in business strategy and general management from INSEAD business school (Singapore/France).
Dave Fotiadis, Vice President – Sales
Dave has been in the Healthcare Solutions sales industry for 27 years after getting his start at Xerox and IBM. He has participated in the sales and implementation of hundreds of clinical solutions in a variety of medical practices and acute care settings. Before Medflow, Dave oversaw the sales and marketing departments as CSO at Office Practicum. He was instrumental in helping Quest Diagnostics rollout their integrated solution suite. Dave also has a rich experience in selling Ophthalmology solutions at NextGen Healthcare.

Dr. Shibal Bhartiya – Clinical Director
Dr. Shibal Bhartiya is a senior consultant and eye surgeon with special interest in the diagnosis and management of Glaucoma and Ocular Surface Diseases. She has contributed several chapters to books journals and has co-edited the ISGS Textbook of Glaucoma Surgery and the Manual of Glaucoma. Dr Shibal serves as the managing editor of the Video Atlas of Glaucoma Surgery and of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice, the official journal of the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery.
As the Clinical Director at Medflow, she contributes in adding clinical pathways for our cloud offerings and enriching our esteemed clients by blogging on the current and future trends in eye care.
Robert Nguyen, Director – Product Management and Customer Support
Robert started his career in ophthalmology as an ophthalmic technician while attending college in 2005. He gained a vast knowledgeable in ophthalmology and all sub-specialties which prompted him become a COA and get a BS Degree in Health Service Administration from St Leo University. He joined Medlfow as a certified ophthalmic technician/assistant specializing in training users to work with ophthalmic EHR. With his experience over the years, Robert has become a Subject Matter Expert and has helped many clinics with the implementation of Medflow EHR.
As Director of Product Management, Robert leads teams in the design and development of all client-server/hosted products. He also heads the Customer Support function where his employs his hands on experience of the Medflow products to provide the best client experience is the shortest turnaround time.
Mike E.C. Schmidt, Director – Compliance and Special Projects
Mike leads compliance and special projects at Medflow. He brings over 30 years’ experience from the medical device software and healthcare IT field, including general management, marketing, software management, and software development positions in the ophthalmology, oncology and radiology fields, including at Carl Zeiss Meditec, Varian Associates, Siemens Medical Systems and Pacsgear. Mike also owned and led SES, a turnkey software development company focusing on high-risk applications.
Mike received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and his master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Washington at Seattle.
Jack Delia – Director, Client Engagement
Jack Delia is the Director of Account Management in charge of propelling Medflow’s Client Engagement efforts. He joins us after a long and successful career in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical sales. He has vast experience of successfully propelling industry leaders through new ventures and high growth cycle in his leadership experiences in Life Sciences Enterprise space. He specializes in Data Migration, sales of cloud and SaaS based solution as well as information governance for global corporations.
Jack has an acumen of identifying opportunities, developing focus, and providing strategic business solutions – with a special focus on international markets. He has previously worked with Iron Mountain, Quest Diagnostics and Novartis.
Jane Rush, Director – Implementations
Jane heads the new client implementations at Medflow. She has over a decade of experience in healthcare IT project management and has worked with Allscripts in the past for a number of years. Previously, Jane has worked in consulting for hospitals in implementing EMRs. She had worked in resource management in Allscripts before moving to project management with Medflow. Jane was promoted as Director of Project Management and Implementations in April 2015.
In her new role, Jane is responsible for implementing Medflow products for new customers which includes product training, project management, data conversions, interface developments and go – lives. Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Davidson University, Charlotte, North Carolina.
